At this time of year, there is a natural ‘taking stock’ of how we have measured up against the objectives we set ourselves at the start of the year. As an ambitious company, there is an inevitable wish to have accomplished even more over the past 12 months, and we will continue to take those further ambitions into 2023, but for now, pausing on the year we have had, I will highlight the many accomplishments of our journey together this year.
We continued to celebrate business growth this year, with large care home groups onboarding, our team doubling in size and a second office opening in London Kings Cross which has become our new official HQ. It has been fantastic to welcome all of our new customers who have joined us in 2022 and I would like to congratulate the plethora of customers who have received great CQC reports during the year.
From a platform point of view, we further built on the launch of KareInn 3.0, the next generation in Digital Care Planning. Our new platform, launched in mid 2021 builds on our original innovative foundation of intuitive design and technical capabilities but includes more powerful integrations and reporting. This year alone has seen us work on integrations with Civica Cold Harbour Income Processing and CRM, Oracle’s Point of Sale System, V-Care Electronic Medication, PowerBi and InterCall Care Bell Systems. We are already looking ahead to a partnership with Radar Incident, Risk and Compliance and RedCrier E-Learning in 2023.
“KareInn is transformational, intuitive and user friendly. You will never want to go back, it’s exciting and amazing: I love it!”
Building on what has been released into KareInn 3.0 throughout 2022, we can be ambitious with the product themes we intend to deliver in 2023 with a glimpse at our product themes for the year as;
- Harnessing the power of data and delivering insights right to your fingertips
- Offering customer-led configurability
- Adding more integrations to support interoperability and to help provide high-quality integrated care
With our successes throughout the year and based on your feedback as part of our ongoing collaborations, we have every confidence that we can realise our product ambitions and can make a difference in tackling some of our big goals to support each of your residents and staff members.
Opening our London office to our customers via our resumed Digital Adopters Club in November was a personal highlight. Re-connecting in person provided a rich collaboration opportunity and I look forward to many more in 2023 after such a long period where remote working became our norm.
KareInn always aims to share learnings and insights with the sector, and this was achieved in the first half of 2022 via our own LinkedIn blog posts. Since September, our thought leadership has reached new delivery channels including features in Care Home Professional and in The Carer in case you didn’t see them when they were originally written. We were also delighted to hear earlier this month that KareInn has made the European HealthTech Market Map for 2022. We look forward to continuing to strengthen our voice in the market, and providing meaningful content that informs and inspires.
I am looking forward to re-charging my batteries and coming back to continue our exciting plans for 2023. I wish you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
Yours, Kate
